MacRitchie Reservoir October 1, 2006
Steven and Animals at the Reservoir

Surrounded by broad swamps and lush greenery, MacRitchie Reservoir is a pleasant retreat from the bustle of the city life. This 12-hectare park around the reservoir contains areas of primary rainforest that is rich in wildlife. Shaded paths and special exercise stations at intervals make it a popular spot for exercising, jogging and brisk walking. From a bridge, you can watch turtles and carp swimming in the waters, as well as a fountain that plays 30 different water jet patterns. On most Sundays, you will even get to watch performances by orchestras or local school ensembles at the pavilion.
