Angela and I watched Angels and Demons the other day. I've never been able to suspend disbelief enough to thoroughly enjoy Dan Brown's novels, but his characters always summarize their philosophies in ways that appeal to me. In the movie Robert Langdon says, "My mind tells me I will never understand God [and my heart] tells me I'm not meant to. Faith is a gift that I have yet to receive." (1) I totally agree with this sentiment. If you know of anyone passing out faith, please let me know.
